All things come to an end, and extensions aren't an exception. J4Schema was my first extension, created back in 2012; it was a very interesting experience and it taught me a lot about Joomla environment, however now it's completely obsolete.

I was always interested in security (the charm of the dark side...), however I learned everything I know by myself. Until today.
This summer I decided to attend one of the most complete and intense course you can find: Penetration Testing with Kali Linux, provided by Offensive Security.
Has reported on Are You A Human blog, they are going to shut down the PlayThru service, this means that we will have to retire our integration plugin, too.
Goodbye PlayThru, you served us very well.

This year I'll attend to Joomla World Conference on November 8th - 10th 2013; the meeting will be held at Boston, MA, USA.
The location chosen is the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School (Harvard?? Really??)
This time, for the first time, I'll hold a session on a very specific topic: getting started with Unit Testing.
More specifically, I'll report my own experience writing tests for the FrameworkOnFramework library. When I started writing them, I faced a very big problem: on internet there are no step by step guides, you have to discover everything through "the hard way".
I hope my session will help some developers to retain a little of mental health during the crazy task of writing Unit Tests ;)

I've been invited to hold a session at the Italian JoomlaDay that will be held in Naples, in October 12th 2013.
In my session I'll show the latest features added to Joomla 3.2, plus a short recap about Joomla versioning (STS vs LTS releases).
